Awards & Accreditations
Adviza strives to deliver excellent services for young people and adults. We are continually looking at how we improve our services and the process of applying for awards and accreditations is often a good way of doing this. It also provides recognition for our hard-working staff.
We currently hold:
Investors in People which is a standard designed to improve your business and develop your staff.
Matrix which is a standard which looks at the quality of the information, advice and guidance we provide to young people.
The Merlin Standard for delivering excellence in supply chain management.
The prestigious Sunday Times 100 Best Not-for-Profit Companies to Work For for seven consecutive years from 2011 to 2017.
The Investors in Diversity Award which is designed to develop an open and inclusive culture and a more diverse workforce.
We also hold the APS Quality Standard for Mentoring and Befriending Projects for our Lucky Break mentoring programme.
In 2019 we were shortlisted for two UK Career Development Awards (Careers Service Manager of the Year and Careers Programme/Careers Project in a Primary School). In 2017 we won the award for Career Services Manager of the Year. We won three awards in 2013 for: innovative use of technology in career development; best practice in delivering career development services for adults; and Careers Educator of the Year.
We were shortlisted in 2010 (Best Charity to Work For) and 2013 (Best Social Investment Initiative) and received a highly commended in 2012 (Young People's Champion) for the Charity Times Awards.
In 2014 and 2016 we were shortlisted in the Children & Young People Now Awards.
