12th Mar 2015

On Wednesday 11th March, to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, the Bracknell Elevate Hub in Charles Square hosted an apprenticeship event for 16-24 year olds. Careers advisers from Adviza and staff from Nacro and Bracknell & Wokingham College were on hand to provide information and advice on local apprenticeship opportunties.

The event was very successful and Adviza’s careers advisers supported 17 young people during the day through a variety of activities including one-to-one sessions on writing CVs and completing application forms.

In addition, 7 young people were supported through the Barclays Employability programme and completed the online tool Carrus to identify their strengths, abilities and personality traits. Adviza will deliver employability and life skills training to 6,000 young people across the Thames Valley through the Barclays scheme.
