Adviza at the Festival of Education
12th Jul 2015
On two sunny days in June Adviza exhibited at the Sunday Times Festival of Education at Wellington College in Berkshire. This prestigious event was held on 18th and 19th June and attracted a record 5,363 attendees over the two days.
Adviza’s stand, with its eye-catching red, white and blue display, attracted a steady stream of school staff and students interested to find out about our services. Our professional careers advisers were on hand to provide information and advice to young fesitval goers. They also had the opportunity to hear some of the inspirational speakers delivering the talks and workshop programmes, including Fiona Doughton, our National Careers Service Partnership Manager, who was part of a panel discussing the value of vocational skills and experiential careers advice.
Over the two days our promotional items, featuring a special discount code on eCLIPS and Careers Planet, proved popular as did our competition on Friday to win a copy of Careers Planet. The lucky winner was Claire Robinson, Head Teacher at Holme Grange School in Wokingham, who was delighted to be presented with her prize on 7th July.
