Adviza Awarded National Careers Service Contract

Adviza is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the contract to deliver the National Careers Service for the Thames Valley region. The 'Area Prime Contractor' contract was awarded by the Skills Funding Agency - a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
The contract begins on 1st October 2014 and will finish 'on or before' 31st March 2017, with the option to extend on an annual basis for up to two further years. The Thames Valley region covers work in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Reading, West Berkshire, Slough, Bracknell Forest, Windsor & Maidenhead and Wokingham.
The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance to help people make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities. 13 to 18 year olds have access to phone, e-mail, text, forum and webchat services, those of 19 and over can also make an appointment to visit a careers adviser.
