Adviza is very pleased to announce they have recently been awarded a grade Silver for Investors in People.

For nearly 30 years Investors in People has been recognised internationally as a leading people accreditation, making work places better for over 11 million people, in over 14,000 organisations, in over 75 countries worldwide.

Investors in People accreditation can only be achieved after rigorous and objective assessment from an approved assessor to determine if the employer’s performance meets their Standard for people management.

Adviza’s own assessment began as part of the Sixth Generation of the Investors in People accreditation when they were assigned a practitioner to visit support centre in Bracknell as well as with colleagues ‘out in the field.’

The practitioner’s immediate thoughts included: “the Adviza environment is very welcoming where people clearly take immense pride in the business.” A promising start!

The practitioner went on to review offices and premises, interview staff and senior leaders both face to face and using online assessments, use observation techniques to view staff practice and a series of supporting documents and evidence gathering to get a good overall picture of Adviza and its employees.

Adviza’s overall performance was then compared to the IIP average industry benchmark and these results were then combined with the other testing methods and staff feedback to provide the Silver grade result.

Additionally three of the nine indicators that the IIP practitioner looked at were assessed as being at the “advanced” level (Gold), these were; living the organisation’s values and behaviours, structuring work and delivering continuous improvement.  The Assessor commented that the organisation “is not far away from achieving the Advanced level with elements of Advanced being seen in all Indicators, except recognising and rewarding high performance”.

Other valued feedback given by the practitioner can be seen in the quotes below.

“leaders and managers, at all levels are highly effective at creating trusting relationships with their teams”
“people consistently fed back that they put their clients at the heart of everything they do, which often is not the easiest or most convenient thing to do”
“there is a coaching culture throughout the business, which supports people to develop”
“I do feel that I’m appreciated for the work I do, and people take the time to say thank you.  It’s that family feel that makes Adviza so different”
“the management here has completely transformed me as a person.  Their support in developing me has grown my confidence and given me the opportunity to excel”
“I’d rate Adviza a 10/10 as a great place to work.  It’s a unique place, and does not have the dictatorial or rigid feel of other company’s I’ve worked for – everyone really feels like they make a contribution”
