Adviza has been appointed as one of the local delivery partners for the National Youth Agency’s (NYA) new Employability Support Programme, in partnership with Barclays. The project will deliver employability and life skills training to up to 100,000 disadvantaged young people aged 14-25 and who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Supported by funding from Barclays, the programme provides the opportunity to add value to existing projects working directly with disadvantaged young people, to have a meaningful impact on their personal confidence and improve their options and opportunities for employment.

The programme will provide added value to the work Adviza does with young people.  In this calendar year we have a target of providing this support to 6,000 young people aged 14-25 across the Thames Valley. The support will be provided in a variety of ways: online employability skills assessments, information packs for young parents, employability workshops and exercises for one-to-one employability sessions.
