Adviza’s Reading centre (formerly Connexions Reading) has moved. The team is now based at the new Elevate Reading hub located in Reading Central Library in Abbey Square.

The new multi-agency hub offers information, advice, guidance and support to help people get into education, training or employment. 

In addition to Adviza, a range of community providers are located at the hub including Reading Voluntary Action, New Directions, JobcentrePlus, National Careers Service, sexual health clinic and Mother Tongue. 

The new hub also houses the Adviza-run youth counselling service Time to Talk and the Workfit programme for lone parents. 

Young people wanting information, advice and guidance can drop in to see an adviser every afternoon from 12.30-5pm (Wednesdays 12.30-6.30pm) or can book an appointment by contacting the team:

Elevate Reading is funded by a government grant through the Thames Valley City Deal. Elevate is the City Deal Berkshire-wide brand which addresses the skills gap, unemployment and underemployment of 16-24 year olds across Berkshire.
