Workshop for young people considering a career in medicine

Adviza is running two, one-day workshops this summer for aspiring medics. These interactive, small group workshops are for young people aged 15 to 19 and will be running in Aylesbury on Saturday 4th July and in Burnham on Monday 27th July.
The workshops will benefit those who have decided to study medicine as well as those who are considering medicine and want to find out if it’s the right choice for them. Run by our experienced careers advisers, the workshops will include:
- Exploring why you want to do medicine
- Choosing a medical school
- Making your personal statement unique
- Perfecting your application
- Getting the right work experience
- Surviving the interviews
- Studying abroad
- What to do if you don’t get offers
- Alternatives to medicine
