During National Careers Week (2nd - 6th March) Adviza supported the celebration of careers guidance with a range of activities throughout the week.

On Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd March Adviza had a designated area in Princess Square, Bracknell where our advisers from the Bracknell team and the National Careers Service were on hand to offer careers advice to young people and adults. As the national theme for Monday was future jobs, Adviza tweeted 10 jobs of the future and gave away lesson plans from our KS2/3 game Careers Planet, which has been developed to get the employees of the future thinking about and exploring careers at an early age.

As well as our stand at Princess Square, Bracknell, we supported the theme of Work Experience on Tuesday with live updates on Twitter about work experience, the information taken from eCLIPS, our online careers information resource. Following this we ran a Twitter competition to get a free month’s trial of eCLIPS in exchange for users sending in their work experience tips.

We exhibited at the National Careers Guidance Show in London, with special offers on our products including eCLIPS, Careers Planet and Careerstime Lesson plans. To support the National Careers Week theme of Lifeskills, we posted 8 different tips about getting a job.

We supported the National Careers Week theme of Enterprise by posting a tip from Success at School about setting up your own business on Twitter each hour.

On Friday we will be exhibiting at the Berkshire Apprenticeship Fair in Bracknell. In addition to this, we will be supporting the theme of Apprenticeships by sharing features on our 7 apprentices on Twitter and Facebook.
