Adviza is running one-day careers workshops this summer at venues across the Thames Valley. These practical, small group workshops are for Year 12 students who are planning their next step and aspiring actors in Years 11/12.

The Applying to University Workshop is for those who need help to prepare for the UCAS application process, which starts early in Year 13. Our qualified careers advisers will give students guidelines for completing applications and support them during the workshop to:

  • Research courses and universities
  • Compile their 'favourites' list
  • Draft their personal statement
  • Complete a personalised timeline for the application process

The 'So you want to be an Actor' Workshop is for students in Years 11 and 12 who are applying for courses at drama schools or universities, or are looking for an acting job.  Run by an experienced actress/acting coach, the workshop will include:

  • Audition/interview preparation and techniques
  • Advice on different types of acting courses
  • Professional acting techniques
  • Tips to get started and work as a professional actor

Go to the Adviza online shop for full details and to book, or click on the workshop titles above to download a flyer.
