21st May 2015

Volunteers’ Week (1st – 7th June) gives charities the opportunity to thank their volunteers and give recognition for their dedication and hard work. To celebrate this awareness week,  we will be running two events to find new recruits to support our work in Bracknell and High Wycombe.

The Bracknell volunteer recruitment event will be held on Monday 1st June from 9.30am – 5pm on the ground floor of Princess Square. The High Wycombe recruitment event will be located in Eden Shopping Complex, The Royal Plaque on Wednesday 3rd June from 9.30am -4.30pm.  Both events will enable people interested in volunteering to find about the work our volunteers do and the opportunities available. We're always looking for inspirational individuals who can offer encouragement and support to make a positive impact on young people’s lives. We are seeking volunteers for a range of projects to work with young people in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire including volunteer mentors, counsellors and special educational needs supporters.

Kathryn Evans, who previously volunteered for Adviza and now works for us as an Energise Adviser says: “Volunteering offered me a great chance to motivate young people, share my personal stories and share how I overcame difficulties whilst consistently passing on my hope and encouragement”.
