Meeting the unique requirements of your school

Because every school is different, we offer a bespoke service, designed to fit your own unique needs. Read how we support two of our current partner schools in the case studies below.

Little Heath School, West Berkshire

Voluntary-aided co-educational comprehensive secondary school with 1750 students. Number of Adviza days for 2018/19: 68

Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser Emma is in school two days a week. The school’s tailored programme includes personal guidance interviews for years 10 to 13 and bespoke group works for years 8 to 11. Emma also attends year 8 and 11 options evenings and year 10 and 11 parents’ evenings. In addition, she supports annual Year 11 mock interviews and college visits plus the school’s bi-annual Careers Fair. We have also carefully planned a careers package supporting pupil premium students.

Akeley Wood School, Milton Keynes

Independent school for pupils from 12 months to 18 years

The school was particularly keen to buy in a bespoke, flexible service to suit the needs of their students who are a real mix of abilities and interests. Careers adviser Shona sees all year 11 and 12 students on a one-to-one basis, twice in the year. She provides them all with a personalised action plan and shares this with school with student consent. The school also supports attendance to careers related events, visits from guest speakers and other careers education activities in order to meet the Gatsby benchmarks which they follow as best practice.
