What can I expect from a Careers Guidance session? You will be able to talk in confidence with a qualified careers adviser who will help you explore ideas and options, and agree an action plan to move forward. Expand Upon booking a Careers guidance session you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire to help us determine your needs. During your one hour session you will be able to talk in confidence with a qualified careers adviser who will help you explore ideas, discuss pros and cons, make suggestions and challenge you to consider all your options. We will then agree an action plan which summarizes our discussion, gives you further information and helps you to move ahead. This will be emailed to you after the session.
I have special needs. Will these be taken into consideration in my Careers Guidance session? Our advisers are experienced at supporting young people and adults with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Expand Our advisers work with adults and young people with a whole range of special educational needs and disabilities. To help them support you, your adviser may ask how your condition affects your daily life or learning. We have a team of advisers with additional training and particular experience in working with clients with special needs so your adviser may consult with them if further advice is necessary.
Where and when are Careers Guidance sessions held? We offer online sessions via video call, normally on weekdays and during office hours.
