Reach Up has really helped me gain more confidence and I’ve learnt a lot of different sills to apply towards my future work. Esther, young person

Delivered by Adviza in partnership with Coca-Cola European Partners and UK Youth, Reach Up is an exciting two-week employability project to build work skills and confidence in young people.

What is Reach Up?

The programme includes a mixture of workshops, employer engagement and a community project, and ends with a celebration event.

It offers a mixture of fun creative youth work and more traditional work-readiness skills building sessions, with modules in CV-writing, confidence-building, work shadowing, social action and mock interviews.

Volunteers from Coca-Cola European Partners take young people through a day in the life to ‘bring the job to life’ as part of the employer engagement experience. The young people also take on a project to deliver a community event, with the money raised donated to their chosen local charity.

Young people completing project Reach Up receive vouchers to support their next step, such as buying interview clothes. Future participants may also be given the opportunity to interview with our project partners if they positively engage and successfully complete the project.

Who it's for

Participants are 16 to 25 years olds who are not in education, employment or training. There is no restriction on where young people need to live to take part in the project, they just need to be able to travel every day for two weeks to the delivery location. Travel costs are funded by the project and lunch is provided.
