National Citizen Service is an experience designed to make you feel challenged, engaged and empowered.  It’s a great way to try something completely different.  If you are 16-17 years old and not in education, employment and training we want to hear from you.

The 2 week 4 phase programme is the beginning of a journey which will give you the skills and confidence to seize the future you want.

Phase 1 – Adventure

Challenge yourself to try new things on a 4 day, 3 night residential away from home, taking on activities like rock climbing, canoeing and archery

Phase 2 – Discovery

3 days of developing your skills.  Working as a team you’ll learn essential life skills such as communication, leadership and problem solving.  All skills which will look good on your CV.

Phase 3 – Social Action

Time to make your mark, using your newfound skills and confidence to launch a social action project based on an issue you feel passionate about.  It’s a chance to feel proud making a difference in your community.
