The Lexicon Bracknell will host three free, walk-in jobs and learning fairs on March 11th, 15th and 17th. Attendees do not need to book.

The details are as follows:

Friday 11th March, 11am – 2pm: The Lexicon Bracknell Jobs Fair, which will focus on local retail vacancies. Local retail employers are encouraged to participate and use this as an opportunity to speak to jobseekers.

Tuesday 15th March, 11am – 2pm: General Jobs Fair, which will be an opportunity for any local employer to meet and speak to locals about their careers and opportunities.

Thursday 17th March, 11am – 2pm: Learning & wellbeing, an opportunity to meet local support and learning organisations.

The first two events will be an opportunity for local employers to showcase their vacancies and careers opportunities and meet local people. Careers advisers will also be on hand to provide career pathway guidance and support to jobseekers and career-changers.

The Learning & Wellbeing event on 17th is an opportunity for local jobseekers to get additional advice and support around mental health, getting back into work and gaining confidence in their career search.

Each event will take place at Princess Square, The Lexicon Centre, Bracknell, opposite CeX.

Adviza’s Lee Teideman says, “These fairs are for the local community, by the local community. The team of partners have created them to help people understand the opportunities and vacancies in the area, what great employers we have locally, and to ensure we retain skills and talent locally.”

We are asking for local employers both within and outside of retail to get involved, and any employer wishing to do so can contact Lee directly at [email protected]

To attend as a visitor you simply need to visit The Lexicon Bracknell at the allotted date and time.

The drop-in fairs are a partnership between careers organisation Adviza, The National Careers Service, The Department for Work & Pensions, Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon Bracknell.
