If you join us you will empower customers, enabling them to overcome barriers to progression. You’ll provide information, advice and guidance to adults on a range of opportunities, including learning and career paths and employment.

It’s a rewarding role where you can make a really difference to people’s lives – but it’s also a results focussed area of work, so you need to have a high degree of personal resilience and determination to achieve those results.

See the National Careers Service Adviser Job Description for more information on the role.

  • Your experience in successfully hitting targets and deadlines would be invaluable
  • Your ability to work on your own initiative, but know when to seek support and guidance, would really help you get to the top of our list!
What’s in it for you?

Salary & Pay Progression: our salaries are competitive within our sector, and we have a pay progression scheme in development which puts your future pay increases in your hands.

Your personal development: from fully funded qualifications through to allocated work time for personal development for every employee – we have your development covered.
Pensions: we go above and beyond to help you prepare for the future by matching your pension contribution up to 10% of your salary.

Holidays & Work life balance: starting at 28 days holiday (in addition to your bank holidays) you will move to 30 days after being part of our team for just 2 years. You also get a day off on your birthday! But more than that – we offer a genuine commitment to working with you on a working pattern and model that suits you and the business best. Currently 51% of our employees work part time or term time, and many others have individual working arrangements that, most importantly, still get the job done.
