Job roles in this sector offer financial services or advice (e.g. on pensions, savings accounts or insurance) to customers or clients. The work is generally office based, either dealing directly with customers or working 'behind the scenes'. You'll need to be fairly good with figures, although most of the work depends on computers. In certain areas, you'll need to understand a lot about the world of business and commerce. You can enter some of the jobs with just a few qualifications; for others you need to study up to degree level and beyond.
